Item description:
This is a very nice art glass fish made at Hot Island Glass, Maui, Hawaii.  This piece was is dated 2002 and probably made by (Wm.) Chris Lowry.  The fish is clear glass with blue and purple stripes and coloring in the glass.  This piece appears to be a bit more unusual as it has a tail, while the other ones I´ve seen are more of a circular shape without a defined tail.  The size of the fish is 4 3/4" high, 6 3/4" long and about 2" wide across the base.  The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.  There is an original price tag on the bottom from the shop C.C. Gallagher, Avalon, California (Santa Catalina Island), which specializes in one-of-a-kind items.  An eye catching glass sculpture, it would also make a great paperweight.
